What it's for: Flattening, squaring and shaping edges and ends of small workpieces.
How to use it: Check the belt and guards, set the table gap to 1.6 mm or less, and connect the extraction. Switch on, rest the work firmly on the table, and keep it moving with light pressure. Use a jig for small pieces.
Safety: No gloves, loose sleeves or jewellery. Wear glasses, ear protection and a dust mask. Watch for pinch points between belt and table. If the belt drifts, switch off; if you're not experienced at re-tracking, ask an owner.
Protect the machine: If it's not running within centrally within the wheels, don't use it. Don't know how to track the belt? Don't use it, ask for help (submit a trouble ticket).
