Diane Painter, Makersmiths KidWind coach for wind turbine teams, created the game. She used Jeopardy Labs game builder. Access the game's URL is located at https://jeopardylabs.com/play/kidwind-challenge-review-2025 to choose number of teams if you are playing as a group.
The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has STEM kits for members of CAP. CAP has a membership fee of $35. According to a Makersmiths member's mother, "One kit makes both horizontal, and vertical turbines, a windmill, and a solar car, but only one at a time. You can request more than one kit.
