Once teams are formed, the 2025-2026 team meeting dates will be:

Middle School Solar Team coached by Jan Artz and Brian Jo: Sunday afternoons beginning Jan 18 through mid-March at Makersmiths Leesburg from 4-7 PM.

Elementary School Elementary Team coached by Blair Marendt: Saturday mornings beginning Dec. 13 through mid-March at Makersmiths-Purcellville from 9-11 AM.

High School Solar Teams coached by Carol Grigg and Dan Schmidt: Sunday afternoons beginning Dec. 14 through mid-March at Makersmiths-Leesburg from 1:00-4PM.

Middle School Wind Team coached by Tim and Joanna Pearson is now forming in the Purcellville, VA area. Dates and times TBD.

High School Wind Team coached by Oliver Arend off-site in Great Falls. Dates and times TBD.

On Dec. 14, 2024 the Makersmiths solar teams were invited to River Farm's solar fields. River Farm is located just about 7 miles north of Leesburg, VA.  See our slideshow presentation to see what was learned.
