The Sci102course is 100% internally assessed, meaning all of your assessments will be completed at school and no external exams.
As per the course outline, the assessments offered will be:
AS90950 Science 1.11 (4 credits): Investigate biological ideas relating to interactions between humans and micro-organisms
AS90925 Biology 1.1 (4 credits): Carry out a practical investigation in a biological context, with direction
AS90946 Science 1.7 (4 credits): Investigate the implications of the properties of metals for their use in society
AS90930 Chemistry 1.1 (4 credits): Carry out a practical chemistry investigation, with direction
AS90943 Science 1.4 (4 credits): Investigate implications of heat for everyday life
Due to COVID-19 and isolation we will be changing to a different internal assessment- Science 1.4 Heat.
Teaching and learning will be online via this site, classroom, Scipad and Education Perfect.
We will come back to Science 1.11 and assess at a later date. Don't worry, your hard work will be used!!
