Who can study Lit/Num?
The Lit/Num course is designed to support selected students in building a strong foundation for success in NCEA Level 1 literacy and numeracy. This course provides students with the opportunity to earn 5 literacy credits and 5 numeracy credits while developing the essential skills needed to pass the CAA test. While students will still work towards earning an additional 5 literacy and 5 numeracy credits through English, Mathematics, or other subjects, this course gives them a valuable head start and increases their chances of achieving overall success in these key areas.
