Percussion Techniques

Percussion musicians at Maine East are enrolled in Percussion Techniques, a class to focus on the fundamentals of many individual percussion instrument skills. Students split their time between technique, small and large percussion ensemble repertoire, and full band ensemble music. Students then combine with the two concert bands before the concert to perform with them. Participation in marching band is encouraged, but not required.
