Zoom Guide for Faculty
Tips for Using This Guide
Enlarging Screenshots
Nearly all of the instructions in this guide are accompanied by screenshots. If the details in these images are too small for you, follow these steps to see a larger version:
Hover your mouse over the screenshot.
Click the gray button that appears in the upper-right corner of the screenshot. It will look like the one shown to the left.
Finding What You're Looking For
Every page in this Guide has a Search button in the upper-right corner of the screen. It looks like a magnifying glass and is illustrated to the left.
Check the Frequently Asked Questions for quick answers to many common questions we receive from faculty.
Most Links Open in a New Tab
When you click a link to read more about a Zoom topic or feature, a new tab will open, and the page you were on will remain exactly where you left it. External links, such as the Brightspace Guide link in the blue header or footer, also open in a new tab. No need to right click or hit the back button.
Clicking a link to a Chapter, or to a Section in the Contents list of a Chapter, will take you to that Chapter or Section within your current tab. You can right-click or Command-click (older Macs) to open the Chapter or Section in a new tab.
This guide is a companion to our CTEL Brightspace Guide and our Self-Paced Brightspace Training, which provides a step-by-step, video-based tour of building and grading courses in Brightspace.
