Testing

The UAV 1 Capstone Design Team has carefully tested the functions of the prototype to ensure that it performs to expectations. Rest assured, quality control has been performed to make sure that you have a product that exceeds expectations.

Thrust Tests

Performed for cruise and VTOL system.
Done for drive system feasibility prior to flight tests
Further strength proof of concept validation.
Cantilever beam fixed on one end
1:2 moment arm was used for double resolution
Safety protocols documented and followed

Flight Tests

Performed for flight feasibility in both cruise and VTOL flight
Allowed for electronics troubleshooting procedures
Fine tuning of control parameters for easier user control on future flights
Testing of flight time and flight speed predictions
