My audience for this website is anyone who is apprehensive about starting to bake. This can be a new mom, a guy who wants to impress his partner, or a elderly man who wants to make something special for his family. Most of the time, getting started in baking can be really intimidating because there are so many things that can go wrong. This website is meant to be a source to help the novice baker get started by diving into already existing recipes that I have personally made that are easily found on the internet, and giving the reader a much deeper explanation of what each step is. Along with this, I add my own commentary on tips and tricks that I have found through my years of baking to help a recipe come out the right way. Baking should be something that everybody knows how to do, even if it’s in the most basic way. Not only is it a useful skill to know, but it is one that can make any event more meaningful. There is something so much more special about a birthday when someone has made your cake from scratch, or when someone has a plate of your favorite cookies waiting for you at the end of a long day. I know I personally show my love for people by baking and cooking for them, and I'm sure that once the audience feels more comfortable with baking, they will feel the same. By providing a detailed explanation of the importance of measuring during baking and by walking the reader through how to bake a few items, I believe this could instill confidence in anyone who feels more comfortable going into baking with some prior knowledge of the process.
