I believe that writing is a dynamic and collaborative practice. Each and every writer has something unique to offer, and my goal in tutorials is to foster the development of that perspective. Whether you're a freshman who needs help with your ENG 101 portfolio or a graduate student who needs a set of eyes on your proposal, I'm here to ensure that your writing is the best that you can possibly make it.
As an unapologetic feminist, I aim to create a space that is inclusive of everyone, regardless of race, class, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religious affiliation. I value critical thinking and believe authority must be routinely questioned. My tutoring style reflects this; in my tutorials, I aim to get writers thinking deeply about the ideas they present, and focus on the process of expressing those concepts rather than honing in the final product itself--but I will certainly ensure your paper is polished once all the ideas are there :)
