To see if I'm the right tutor for you, here's some background information to give you a sense of who I am:  

• I am an analytical writer primarily and would consider myself an essayist first and foremost. However, I also write creatively and am well-versed in research writing. 

• I double major in English and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I'm also minoring in Philosophy.

• I read feminist theory for fun. bell hooks' understanding of critical theory as liberation and Julia Serano's critiques of transmisogyny (both within the queer community and feminist spaces) have been instrumental in shaping my understanding of the world.

• I believe that literature should be accessible to as many types of people as possible. A multiplicity of perspectives is necessary for cultivating new and exciting research/knowledge.
