Hi, I am Michael Anderson. My journey in weightlifting and exercise started when I was 7 and my father had gotten me a weight set for Christmas. I've spent my whole life being active from playing baseball as a child to practicing martial arts once I was out of school. Outside of doing things along those lines I was always working on getting stronger in the weight room almost every day. What made me decide I wanted to be a personal trainer was being diagnosed with a hernia and requiring surgery. Due to recovery and inactivity during that era in my life my weight had shot from a healthy 220 lbs to 280 lbs. Shortly after reaching that point I was admitted into the hospital with A-Fib, while recovering I learned and researched the importance of proper nutrition and activity throughout the day. This started my forward journey to continue learning and sharing what I can with others to hopefully improve their lives as it has improved mine
