Regular Education School Bus Service

1) Regular Education School Bus Applications

The School Year 2026-2027 application is available on both the Hawaii State Department of Education (Department) Eligibility & Applying website and the School Bus Transportation (SBT) Resources page.

Applications can also be accessed and submitted online by families starting on July 13, 2026. Payments must be EXACT cash, cashiers check, Money order, or EZSCHOOLPAY (Online application). NO Personal or business checks will be accepted.

2) Quarterly Bus Pass Application Periods

All school bus applications for paid and free-qualified student riders must be submitted, reviewed, and approved on a quarterly basis per the schedule provided below.

Quarter 1: July 13, 2026 - August 7, 2026

Quarter 2: September 14, 2026 - October 12, 2026

Quarter 3: December 7, 2026 - January 8, 2026

Quarter 4: February 22, 2026 - March 22, 2027

3) Quarterly Pass and Payment Information

Only quarterly bus passes (Round-trip or one-way) will be available for purchase.

$72.00 round-trip (AM and PM)

$36.00 one-way (AM only or PM only)
