the Metal Crafts Department of Chung Cheng High School in Kaohsiung is the only vocational high school department in the country that was first established with a focus on metal crafts and belongs to the design category 

Its goal is to cultivate talent engaged in metal craft creation and design1. The curriculum focuses on teaching the production and design knowledge and skills related to metal craft works, and integrates characteristic courses such as metal, glass, enamel, creative modeling, and cultural and creative aesthetics1. This department emphasizes showcasing innovative aspects of works and creating opportunities for metal craft cultural and creative aesthetics1.
