To me representing you is not just about planning events. Its about the everyday issues that you may have and advocating on your behalf. This position is all about listening. I pledge to always be there as a listening ear. As an added bonus I can offer advice based on my year of experiences at YU as well. Finally, and most importantly, I work for you. If there is an event that you want to run or an initiative that you want to see done all you need to do is get in touch and I will work with you on making that dream a reality.

Like everyone else I am hoping for a speedy return to campus and look forward to hopefully making many successful in person events like I have in the past. But, in the current situation where a large amount of students are not on campus, and the type and size of events that can be had is severely limited, my experience as a planner of zoom events will be extremely useful. Furthermore, I understand that even when campus events can and do resume not everybody will be comfortable with that and I will work hard to make sure that there are online opportunities throughout the year.

Social events are important and I understand that different people are comfortable in different situations. For that reason I will be planning both all men and coed events. I already have experience with this for example my First Time on Campus event last year was coed with many attendees from both campuses, and a few smaller events were only for guys.

This is really the most important thing. I am always available for you and will make time for you no matter what is going on. If I am representing you I need to be representing you accurately. That means I need to always be available no matter what is going on in my life. I will make time for you during midterms season and I will make time for you during finals season. Just because I'm stressing for my own tests does not mean I will ignore the issues you are having in your classes. This is something I believe very strongly in.
