I was born in South Bend, Indiana then moved to Israel for first grade. I've lived in Silver Spring, Maryland since fifth grade, and went to the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy for high school.
Reading - I love expanding what I know and there is no better way to do that then reading.
Adventuring - I love the outdoors you can often find me biking, hiking, or kayaking during the summer or snowboarding during the winter. There is nothing I love more than being outside experiencing the beauty of the great outdoors. 'מה רבו מעשיך ה. I am also a certified SCUBA diver and love being under the water. In my opinion there is nothing better than being 70 feet underwater swimming with fish in a coral reef and nothing but water above you.
Sports - Not really a hobby so much as an activity. I am on the men's fencing team at YU and I played ice hockey throughout high school. I was also a captain on my high school track and field team where I helped teach other students how to throw shotput and discus.
Cooking - I love to cook. One of my favorite things to make I like to call Ta's World Famous Chicken Soup. My father makes it every week for Shabbos and it was one of my favorite things on the planet. I also enjoy grilling and making healthy omelets in the morning after my workouts.
Baking - This is different than cooking. I always my signature coffee cakes (If anyone wants to try one let me know) when I get stressed. I also experiment with other cakes and cookies on occasion (ask me about my Rugelach Cheesecake Oven Disaster) and I even tried doing sourdough over the summer. I sadly have not yet succeeded with that final project yet.
Random Obsessions - Every once in a while I will happen find something I get obsessed with whether it is a book series or a tv show or cooking or whatever and I just do it obsessively until I get bored of it.
