Problem-solving skills are clearly essential to success in a quantitative course in physics. More important, the ability to apply broad physical principles—usually represented by equations—to specific situations is a very powerful form of knowledge. It is much more powerful than memorizing a list of facts. Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities can be applied to new situations whereas a list of facts cannot be made long enough to contain every possible circumstance. Such analytical skills are useful both for solving problems in this text and for applying physics in everyday life. As you are probably well aware, a certain amount of creativity and insight is required to solve problems. No rigid procedure works every time. Creativity and insight grow with experience. With practice, the basics of problem solving become almost automatic.

• To create awareness on the importance of problem-solving skills
• To help students develop problem-solving skills
• To create awareness on various competitive exams for higher studies in physics.
• To introduce students to various syllabi of competitive exams and their requirements.
• To motivate students to learn and understand physics by use of real problems.
• To discuss the different approaches and strategies in solving problems.
In recent times the art of problem-solving and understanding the concepts fundamentally has been changing a lot and most of the students are ignorant about many things. FPSC is a friendly environment where you can find people of your interest. It will be a good chance to learn from experience because many important things can be achieved from it. In FPSC you will have your place to express anything regarding a problem, a new approach, any information, and more. Here one will be able to explore the art of problem-solving in a new way if you want you can invent your way. We also have good, amiable, experienced guides who can help you. This is entirely a student-based club so only inputs are given from the mentors and other things are in your hands. This will be a great club to join if you what to explore physics differently.

In recent times we have done a few interesting activities. For the past few months, we have encouraged the students to take up a problem every day which has been posted on the Feynman problem-solving board in the department which made students more interactive. Then we had a few monthly lectures on higher studies at various national and international institutions then on a few fundamental physics concepts.
