How the competition works.

• Tasters for the event, will be given 5-10 tickets upon entry depending on number of contestants entered in competition. 

• Tasters can go around tasting a bowl of each chili they are interested in.

• Tasters will then cast their vote for their favorites by dropping a ticket into a covered jar. 

• Whoever has the most tickets at the end wins the title as the Choir Chili cookoff champion of Rittman Schools.

How to sign up to compete.

1. Fill out the Google Form below to enter the competition.

2. The $5.00 (Cash only) entry fee is due on the day of the competition. This helps support the choir program and allows you to sample other chilis as well.

3. Bring your donated Chili to set up an hour before the start of the competition. (5:00pm)

4. Must have a way to keep chili warm via crockpot, instant pot, ect. outlets are available.

5. BYOL - Bring your own Ladle/Spoon

6. Due to allergy concerns and dietary restrictions, participants will be required to list main ingredients used. Quantities and cooking methods not needed. Participants will fill out a small ingredient card for their entry on the day of the event. You will list protein, vegetables, specific spices, or if it allows for dietary restrictions (Vegetarian, dairy free, or gluten free).

7. Non competitors may still participate by bringing a side dish. This could include corn bread, rice, bulk box of crackers, mac and cheese, or varied potatoes dishes. $5.00 (cash only) entry fee for non competitors.
