Additional Discipleship Resources
Continuing the Journey
Congratulations on completing the O3 Discipleship Model Intensive! While this curriculum marks the completion of an important season of learning, it also represents the beginning of a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus Christ.
The following resources have been included to help you move beyond learning into intentional spiritual formation. These sample tools are designed to encourage continued growth in Orthodoxy (Right Belief), Orthopathy (Right Affections), and Orthopraxy (Right Practice) while fostering a deeper dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
As you engage these resources, prayerfully consider how each one can support your ongoing walk with Christ and your commitment to making disciples. Whether you are establishing new spiritual disciplines, strengthening your devotional life, or developing a personal discipleship plan, these tools are intended to provide practical guidance and encouragement for continued growth.
The resources included in this section are examples of discipleship tools that can be adapted for individual, small-group, or local church use. They are provided to help you develop consistent habits of Bible study, prayer, reflection, obedience, and disciple-making as you continue to mature in your faith.
Included in this section are:
My O3 Covenant – A personal covenant committing yourself to a life of right belief, right affections, right practice, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
30-Day Spiritual Growth Plan – A month-long guide designed to help establish consistent habits of Scripture reading, prayer, worship, reflection, and practical obedience.
Daily Spiritual Growth Journal – A simple format for recording what God is teaching you and how you are responding in faith.
Personal Growth Evaluation – A tool for assessing your continued progress in spiritual maturity and identifying areas for intentional development.
Disciple-Making Commitment – A guide for praying for, encouraging, and intentionally investing in others as you fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.
Building Your Discipleship Library
In addition to these practical tools, you are encouraged to begin building a personal Discipleship Library that will support your lifelong growth in Christ. Along with Scripture as your primary source of truth, carefully selected Christian books can help deepen your understanding of biblical discipleship, spiritual formation, and faithful Christian living.
To assist you in this process, suggested reading materials will be provided as part of your ongoing discipleship development. These recommended resources will include foundational works on discipleship, spiritual disciplines, Christian character, and Spirit-empowered living. As you grow, you can use these materials to strengthen your theological understanding, enrich your devotional life, and equip you to disciple others more effectively.
Final Encouragement
It is our prayer that these resources will continue to encourage and equip you long after this intensive has concluded. Remember that discipleship is not measured by the completion of a course, but by a lifetime of faithfully following Jesus Christ. Continue growing in His truth, loving Him with your whole heart, walking in obedience to His Word, and relying daily upon the power of the Holy Spirit as you become a disciple who makes disciples.
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
— Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
