Movie Overview

 Soul Surfers is based on a true story. Bethany Hamilton, a teenager who is a rising surfing star located in Hawaii, lost her arm in a shark attack while out on the water surfing. Despite the injury, Bethany is motivated by her faith to recover and return to competitive surfing. With the support of her friends, family, and church, she adapts to her new reality and, along the way, inspires others with her ability to overcome.
