This series represents the emotions of being unable to control the world around you, forced to watch something disgusting that becomes more and more normalized as time goes on.
This series calls attention to strange moments worth noticing in everyday scenarios, becoming a natural surrealism that begs to be paid attention to yet feels completely normal in a painted setting.
All paintings are acrylic on panel, completed between October and December, 2025. All are painted in situ. All shown in Nazareth University Student show, Spring 2026.

This series was born from the experience of being abroad and observing and partecipating in a screened lifestyle, not truly experiencing the newness of ones own setting, giving in to looking at a phone and not taking the time to enjoy new and different experiences, and the push to pay attention.
