This screening will be of the second video in Mod. 1. As history is in a constant pattern of repeating itself, it is once again, immensely valuable to parse through the wrongs of the past so as to prevent them in the future. We will be hosting a discussion of this Module- did you love it? Hate it? Feel neutral about it all? Got something to say about it? Let’s hear it! We will all be engaging in some respectful, roundtable discussion. With any piece of information made by a human being, they will all have their own biases and political leanings. With this being said, how does one responsibly acknowledge such a thing- especially in a learning context? You can still join the course to have the materials for yourself. We will be showing a screening of Module 1, Video 1, an educational run through of revolutions throughout the world and history. The removal of sensitive material in history can lead to destruction of history, regardless of the ethical nature of said material. There will be snacks and a handout.
