At the beginning of each fall and winter semester, Alpha Sigma Kappa hosts recruitment events on campus. These free events are open to anyone interested in learning more about ASK. This way, Potential New Members (PNMs) have the opportunity to get to know our current members. For more information, see our Important Dates.
Candidacy
Candidacy
To be considered for Candidacy, a PNM must satisfy certain requirements. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale is required, as well as having a major that is on our list of accepted majors (see below). PNMs must also attend AT LEAST two recruitment events and schedule an interview during that semester to be considered for a bid.

Membership
Once a person becomes a Candidate, they and their fellow Candidate Class will learn more about ASK through education, and will receive a Big, who helps them transition from Candidacy to Active Membership.
