Study Hall Rules

MRS. ZEIGER’S STUDY HALL RULES

1. Come prepared to work! 

Your study hall teacher has the right to prioritize your work.

1. Tests take priority

2. Missing work

3. Current work

4. If all of you work is finished, you may choose one of the following activities after you read a book for 20 minutes:

   1. Continue reading a book

   2. Work on a crossword puzzle, word search, or other puzzle game

   3. Play a board game or cards (with teacher’s permission)

   4. Draw (with teacher’s permission)

   2. Electronics:

1. NO Chromebooks unless you are using them for an assignment.

2. Phones need to be turned into the teacher or the phone basket at the start of class.

   3. Etiquette (Also Known As - Behavior):

1. Students will be allowed to leave the classroom 1 time during the class period.

2. Come to class with all of your materials

3. Sign out when you leave the classroom

4. Ask permission to leave the classroom

5. Students must have a pass or permission from a teacher before leaving the classroom.

6. Healthy snacks are allowed. However, snacks will be banned if:

1. Students do not pick up after themselves

2. Student is making eating snacks a priority over working on assignments

    G. Be respectful of other students and keep talking to a minimum
