Her poster examined the relationship between environmental acculturative stress and mental health among Latinx college students and the moderating role of maternal and peer relationship quality.

Congratulations to lab members: Emily Covarrubias, Yaritza Reyes, and Sebastian Borja for their poster entitled, "Acculturative Family Distancing and Latinx Adolescents’ Behaviors: Mediation by General Family and Intergenerational Cultural Conflict" being recognized as a poster which best reflects research on ethnic and racial issues at the Society for Research in Child Development 2021 Biennial Conference.
