Acknowledgements

My success has depended on the encouragement and guidance of many others. I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to those who have been instrumental and extended their valuable assistance to me in the preparation and completion of my graduate degree program.

I want to show my greatest appreciation to the faculty and staff in the Department of Leadership Studies at Fort Hays State University. I have been fortunate to be part of the department as an undergraduate student, graduate student, and employee. This academic endeavor would not have been possible without the scholarships and opportunities they granted me throughout the years. Your wisdom and guidance have been incredibly influential and greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, I would like to thank my family, especially my parents, sisters, and Brock for their continued support and encouragement to pursue my graduate degree. Also, Josh and Sarah Clancy for their support as I relocated for a professional opportunity. They were a tremendous help when it came to editing assistance, late-night feedback, and moral support.

I would like to acknowledge my classmates Amy Warner, Abby Kennemer, and Quinn Munk for their knowledge and insight throughout this program. Without their encouragement and advice, this portfolio and the artifacts included would not have materialized successfully. I am fortunate to have learned so much about the discipline of leadership from these incredible women.

The support of those directly and indirectly mentioned has shaped me into the person that I am today. Although I will never stop practicing and learning the art of leadership, I am proud to present this comprehensive portfolio to the graduate committee. Fort Hays State University has been an incredible place to call home over the last 7 years and I will be forever thankful for the experiences and friendships. As I move toward new endeavors, one thing is certain in my journey moving forward, I will forever remain a Fort Hays State University tiger!
