This website presents an original research project that highlights the current market saturation of sequels, remakes, and adaptations within the film industry, why this is happening, and how members of Generation Z are feeling about this.
The content within this site includes a scholarly literature review, a research proposal for an empirical research study where survey is used as the data collection method, as well as the findings from the collected survey data. The study conducted for this research looks to explore Gen Z's interaction with and feelings on the current state of the film industry. Through the use of survey, members of Generation Z are able to share what they thought were the current issues and triumphs of the industry today. The data collected from this study will be imperative for film professionals when making decisions on what projects to move into production in the future.
