The Music Department at Westwood is pleased to announce that we are planning a trip in the spring to compete at Music in the Parks at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA on May 11, 2019.  Both the Band and Choir will compete in the morning and then spend the day in the Park followed by an awards ceremony.  

The cost per student is $130.  This will cover registration for the competition, entrance fees to the Park, the cost of transportation, and a meal pass.  We would love to see every student be able to participate in this wonderful opportunity!  To that end, we will create a sponsor letter which students may use to share with friends, family, churches and businesses.  

The following is a suggested deadline of payments towards the trip: 

January 15     $40    Deposit 

February 15   $30 

March 15        $30 

April 1             $30

Total               $130 

Students may choose to pay the entire amount in January.  However, we must have the deposit at least by January 15.  If you choose, you may begin payments before January.  

Please complete the permission slip below, indicating whether or not you plan to participate in this exciting event.
