Wilmington Early College High School covers the cost of textbooks for their students, during fall and spring semesters (students who opt to take summer courses may be required to purchase textbooks).
Many CFCC course instructors use Inclusive Access.
What is Inclusive Access? A method of providing access to digital course content when instructors are using interactive courseware platforms or e-books in place of printed text.
How do you know if a course uses Inclusive Access? All students enrolled in courses that use inclusive access will receive an email from no-reply@verbasoftware.com prior to classes starting.
How is inclusive access provided:
1 - An access code that the student will need to enter to register once the student logs into their blackboard account.
2 - the digital content and platform will be integrated into the black board without a code being needed.
No Inclusive Access Email?
It is the student's responsibility to find out what textbook that they need for the courses for which the are enrolled. There are several ways to do this

Commencement Information
GRADUATION
Commencement ceremonies are held twice each academic year, in May, for CFCC's May and December graduates and in August for the summer graduates. Please check the Academic Calendar for exact dates and times. Ceremonies are held in the Wilson Center .
Students do not receive their official diplomas at commencement. Once all final grades are in, a check of each student’s program evaluation is done to confirm graduation. Degrees are posted to the official transcript within one week of Commencement. Diplomas will be mailed approximately 6 weeks after graduation to the student’s address on file.
DEADLINES & INTENT TO GRADUATE
Candidates for graduation must complete an Intent to Graduate Form. This form should be submitted when you you are within 1 to 2 semesters of completing your program course requirements. Each degree, diploma, or certificate you are completing should be included on this form. Note: This process can take about 15 minutes to complete, please make sure you have that much time available before clicking the link. Do not click the web browser’s ‘Back’ button, or you will have to start over from the beginning.
A confirmation email from the Registrar's office will be sent to your CFCC email account of receipt of this intent. You'll also receive communication explaining your status and listing any course needs.
Upon graduation, WECHS waiver eligibility will end. If you plan to continue in another program at CFCC after graduation, please contact the Academic Advising Center .
PROGRAM EVALUATION (DEGREE AUDIT)
Check your Program Evaluation through Student Planning or your WebAdvisor account. The Program Evaluation tracks a student’s progress towards graduation based on the student’s catalog of record. The Program Evaluation allows students, advisors, and counselors to follow progress towards completion of a degree, diploma or certificate. Students can also use the system for “what if” scenarios when considering changing majors. This feature will reconfigure the courses a student has already taken and apply them to the “what-if” program requirements.
Request to take courses at CFCC's Downtown Campus
In order to provide WECHS students as much support during their first years as a CFCC student, WECHS policy limits freshman, sophomores and 1st semester juniors from taking classes downtown at CFCC's Downtown Campus. Most courses are offered on CFCC's North Campus.
If a WECHS student would like to request the WECHS Principal make an exception to this policy, the Permission for Downtown Courses Request should be completed, as early as possible.
