Course Information for Spring 2026

16-week courses which start on 1/26/2026, offered through CityOnline.

I. ART 125A-Basic Design: 2-D Foundations — All Online! 

• Art 125A-Basic Design: 2-D Foundations, Section 982, CRN 30008 all online, with real-time video-conferencing offered every Wednesday, 6:40-8:30 PM.   First synchronous video-conferencing for Spring 2026 is Wednesday, January 28. Spring 2026 syllabus

II. Art 126: Color — All Online!  

Two all online sections through CityOnline with once weekly synchronous video-conferencing offered for each section. 

• Section 981, CRN 33113, all online, with real-time video-conferencing offered every Monday, 6:40-8:30 PM. First synchronous video-conferencing for Spring 2026 is Monday, January 26. Spring 2026 syllabus for section 981 

• Section 982, CRN 35268, all online, with real-time video-conferencing offered every Tuesday, 6:40-8:30 PM. First synchronous video-conferencing for Spring 2026 is Tuesday, January 27. Spring 2026 syllabus for section 982

Art Kits

For students' convenience art kits will be available through our CCSF College Bookstore at the Ocean Campus at 50 Frida Kahlo Way, Smith Hall, San Francisco, CA 94112. Kits are optional but convenient for the students as they package all required basic art materials at a discount. They can be mailed directly to the students' addresses for a small fee or picked up curb side upon purchase. Further details will be posted here in January.  

Dear Students, please note that our bookstore has ordered art kits for our classes. Kits are not required, but they will be available for students' convenience. However, our bookstore has not posted kits information with our class materials yet. I am following up on it, but for now, the links below do not display the kit information. I will update as soon as the bookstore displays the kit information.

1. Art 125A-Basic Design: 2-D Foundations (Wait on buying the textbook! A free pdf of the textbook is available online!)

Students can wait until the first meeting to decide if they wish to purchase a printed copy or access a free download.
