Course Information
A high school English course in which students interpret, analyze, and respond to contemporary American fiction and nonfiction texts.
STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
Analyze how rhetorical devices affect authors’ messages.
Analyze how cultural context influences authors’ messages.
Implement writing strategies to produce argumentative analytical essays following Modern Language Association (MLA) standards..
