This course covers the historical development of the Philippines from the pre-colonial period to present day. The evolution of national culture, political and social institutions, and foreign relations will also be examined.
Meets CCSF graduation requirements in GE areas 3 & 4, E. Cal - GETC 3B, 4.
This course meets requirements for the following degrees: History AA-T; Social Justice Studies: Ethnic Studies AA-T; Liberal Arts & Humanities AA; Social Sciences and Behavioral Sciences AS. This is a required course for the Associates of Arts Degree in Philippine Studies and the Certificate of Achievement in Philippine Studies.
