Course Description
ESL 95 is a three-unit grammar and editing course for non-native speakers of English with a focus on high advanced grammar structures and vocabulary development strategies. In this course you will also develop editing and proofreading skills to improve quality and accuracy of your written college level work.

Important Information and Requirements
The course is a sixteen-week fully online course using the Canvas Learning Management System with no required face-to-face class meetings.
This course is not self-paced. There will be weekly modules of work with required tasks to complete (discussions, writing and editing assignments, and quizzes)
Within the first week of the class, there will be some required tasks which you will need to complete so that I know you plan to complete the course.
The required textbook for this class is Martin Hewings, Advanced Grammar in Use. Third Edition with Answers and eBook, Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2015
Ideally, you should have access to a laptop or desktop computer to complete this course. However, the course can also be accessed from a smartphone or tablet.The Canvas Student App is recommended for those who use a smartphone or tablet. I strongly recommend that you download the free Canvas Student App before the course starts .
