A first course in high school geometry: point, lines, and planes; classification of angles; triangles and the Pythagorean theorem; classifications of polygons; surface areas and volume of several shapes. Protractor, Ruler, and Pencil is required for this class

Prepares students for the GED Mathematical Reasoning test, or HiSET Math test, and/or credit math courses. Topics include quantitative reasoning with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percent, and related word problems; data measurement and analysis; an introduction to algebraic reasoning; and geometric measurement.
