My name is Lori Brown and I am the Coordinator of the Evans Center Library, an instructional librarian and the Coordinator for Concerts and Lectures Series. I have been with City College of San Francisco (CCSF) since 1998. I currently split my time between the main Ocean Campus and Evans Center. The Evans Center Library, which many people affectionately refer to “my baby”, is a specialized library located at the Evans Center. The heart of the collection was made possible by the dedicated faculty and staff of the Evans Center. Our library specializes in Automotive, Construction, Building Maintenance and Business (Fashion/Upholstery). A great plus is that I am an instructor at CCSF. I teach LIBR 58B: Medical Resources. LIBR 58B is a two-unit online course that opens the world of medical health and the resources that are available to individuals, and the community.

I am blessed because I am in a career that I truly love. My motto is “Always have people leaving with more information than they came in with” and hopefully with a smile. At CCSF we are here for the students. I truly believe in lifelong learning and watching the students grow and achieve their goals. This is what keeps me here. So, I say to all of you, Welcome to City College.
