In this course you will develop your ability to communicate on a range of academic, social and career-related topics. You will practice reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
After successfully completing this class you will be able to:
Identify main points and most supporting details in a range of adapted and authentic spoken English texts on familiar and unfamiliar topics.
Communicate orally in English in extended conversations and discussions, using a limited range of high-intermediate language structures and forms.
Identify main points and most supporting details in a range of adapted and authentic written English texts on familiar and unfamiliar topics.
Write organized paragraphs with relevant ideas and supporting details, using a limited range of high-intermediate English language structures and forms.
Work effectively in a diverse cultural environment at a high-intermediate English.
We meet in-person Monday to Friday from 8:20 to 12:00.
