This is a high school history survey of the eras from European Colonization of the New World to the outbreak of the American Civil War.  Throughout the course we will strive to connect our nation's past to its present through discussion of current events.  Our learning process includes textbook readings, videos, online and in-person discussions, and completing written assessments which seek to answer open-ended and enduring historical questions.
