Noncredit ESL
Welcome to Spring 2024!
Hi Students,
My name is Ed, and I want to welcome you to the Spring 2024 Semester at City College of San Francisco!
I teach English as a Second Language Noncredit classes. Currently I teach all my classes online. In the past, I have taught in-person classes at the Mission Campus.
This semester I'm teaching three classes.:
English for Work Beginning (Level 3-4) -online only (just work in Canvas)
ESL 6 Intermediate-remote (live meetings on Zoom, assignments in Canvas)
ESL 7-8 Intermediate High-remote (live meetings on Zoom, assignments in Canvas)
The English for Work course is completely online—no regular Zoom class meetings (an optional Zoom meeting or two during the semester).
The ESL 6 class meets three mornings a week on Zoom. There are also materials and assignments for students on Canvas.
The ESL 7-8 class meets two evenings a week on Zoom. There are some materials and assignments on Canvas.
For more information about the courses, click on the Courses link at the top of the page. You can also send me an email and ask me anything you like about the courses.
