Are you ready?

Hybrid classes are equivalent in quality and rigor to face-to-face classes. In a face-to-face class, you are expected to engage with the class material for 8 to 10 hours outside of the four hours you spend in class (lecture and conference). That adds up to 15 to 17 hours a week (including lab), or a minimum of 262.5 hours for a 17.5 week semester and is the same, by law, for online-hybrid classes. Take an honest look at your schedule for this semester and decide whether you can devote at least 15 hours a week to the class. As important as figuring out whether you have enough time for this class is to decide whether taking an online class is the right decision for you.
