If you have passed MATH 46 or you pass MATH 46 this semester, your course eligibility is the exact same under the new rules as it was before. Students who have passed MATH 46 - Elementary and Intermediate Algebra are eligible for the following transfer-level courses:

• MATH 70 - Liberal Arts Math
• MATH 75 - Math Analysis for Business
• MATH 80 - Probability and Statistics
• MATH 90 - Precalculus Algebra
• MATH 95 - Trigonometry

However, if you do not pass MATH 46, then you are still eligible for certain transfer-level courses under the new placement rules. The following changes in placement apply to you:

• All students are eligible for MATH 70 - Liberal Arts Math.
• Students with a HS GPA ≥ 2.3 are eligible for MATH 80 - Probability and Statistics.
• All students are eligible for MATH 80 - Probability and Statistics if they also enroll in MATH 80S - Support for Statistics
• Students with a HS GPA ≥ 2.6 or who were enrolled in a HS Precalculus course are eligible for MATH 90 - Precalculus Algebra.
• Starting Fall 2019, all students are eligible for MATH 90 - Precalculus Algebra if they also enroll in MATH 90S - Support for Precalculus Algebra
