General Overview for BIO 32 (Marine Biology Lecture)
BIO 32 is a 17-week introductory science lecture course. We will explore the natural history of California marine biota with emphasis on the interrelationships between marine life and their environment. It is designed to fulfill the basic science requirement for CCSF graduation and meets CSU B2 and IGETC 5B.

General Overview for BIO 32L (Marine Biology Lab)
BIO 32L is the 1-unit lab portion of the course. The course provides opportunity to examine in more detail some of the many types of marine organisms, which were introduced to students during the lecture course, Biology 32. You will participate in the lab through on-campus lab activities and in-person field trips that include explorations of marine habitats in the greater San Francisco Bay Area that involve mudflats, sandy beaches and rocky intertidal habitats.Satisfies IGETC Area 5C and CSU GE Area B3.
