Counseling Services and Programs
Welcome, I am glad you are here! I look forward to meeting you!
I started at City College San Francisco (CCSF) in 2014. I love learning, advising, counseling, teaching, and evolving as an educator, counselor, and a person. I serve as an academic counselor and instructional faculty at CCSF. Currently, I teach CRER 60: Deciding on a Career, which is asynchronous. In 2022, I joined our Academic Counseling Services and Programs department. Prior to that, I was with the Learning Assistance Department as an instructional faculty, tutoring coordinator, and served as the department chair for 7+ years. I taught a variety of credit and non-credit college success classes, peer tutor training courses, supervised tutoring, and coordinated the Learning Assistance Department's online and in-person tutoring program. I love supporting students through their academic and life goals and am honored to share a small part of that journey with each of you.
Learning is a shared experience.
We are all in this together.

A little bit about me outside of work
I love outdoor adventures with my adorable pup and keep a spreadsheet of dog-friendly trails to explore! Taking road trips, or reading quietly, also bring joy and calm to my life. I am currently reading, The Personal Librarian. Since I love learning, I often take classes for my own enrichment. Right now, I am taking a class on Ayurvedic Health.

Spring 2024
Setting up for your courses:
Please set up your RAM ID and log in for CANVAS at least a week before the class starts. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or just to introduce yourself. I look forward to working with you this semester!
It is your responsibility as the student to add or drop classes either online or in-person at designated registration offices. If you are dropping a class it is important that you be aware of the deadlines as students may be asked to pay for courses that are dropped after the deadline. See the Free City College Policy for more information. “No show” means that you never showed up / came to class or participated in any activity. Online students will be considered a “no show” and dropped from the class who have no communication with the instructor and do not complete Module 0 tasks within the first week of class by the indicated due dates.
