I have been with City College San Francisco (CCSF) as a full-time faculty since 2014. I absolutely love learning, teaching, and counseling! I strive to continuously evolve as an educator, academic counselor, and a person. Currently, I teach CRER 60: Deciding on a Career (3 units) and periodically CRER 61: Orientation to Career Success (1-unit). Both courses are asynchronous.
In 2022, I transitioned into the Academic Counseling Services and Programs department to serve as an academic counselor for our students. Prior to that, I was with the Learning Assistance Department as an instructional faculty, tutoring coordinator, and served as the department chair for almost 8 years. I taught a variety of credit and non-credit college success and tutor training courses. Additionally, I supervised tutoring and coordinated the Learning Assistance Department's online and in-person tutoring program. I truly enjoy supporting students through their academic, career, and life goals. I am honored to share a small part of that journey with each of you.

I love any outdoor adventure with my adorable pup. She is my 14-pound sidekick. I keep a spreadsheet of dog-friendly parks, trails and activities to explore!
Taking road trips and finding special places away in nature are two of my favorite things. Spring break I rented a campervan and took a week long road trip with my dog...it was awesome!
Summer 2025, I am backpacking for 5 days in Desolation Wilderness for the first time.
I have also visited 6 countries and almost all 50 states!
Reading helps me decompress, use my imagination, and brings calm to my life. I am currently working my way through The Seven Sisters, a series by Lucinda Riley.
I often take classes for my own growth and enrichment. I just completed one on how to integrate AI with Career Counseling.
No matter where you are in your educational or career journey, I am here to support you in any way I can. Success is not often linear. If you are struggling, please let me know.
Below are some valuable resources available to you through CCSF.

It is your responsibility as the student to add or drop classes either online or in-person at designated registration offices. If you are dropping a class it is important that you be aware of the deadlines as students may be asked to pay for courses that are dropped after the deadline. See the Free City College Policy for more information. “No show” means that you never showed up / came to class or participated in any activity. Online students will be considered a “no show” and dropped from the class who have no communication with the instructor and do not complete tasks within the first week of class by the indicated due dates.
