"This has been a very challenging class, and I also think that it’s going to be the one that I will miss the most. It has been an interesting and intense journey!! I couldn’t have done it without all the support, guidance, and the strategic organization of each module. Thank you, professor and embedded support team!!!" -- Maria, Spring 2022
"I am proud of being an English 1A student. When I came to The U.S, I couldn't even imagine that I would be able to complete this class. This class is the most useful that I've ever had. I learnt a lot: how to do research, grammar, citation rules, some tricks how to use Google Doc, etc. How to Kill a City by Moskowitz was my first book in English that I finished. I will miss this class a lot. Professor Buckley and Lisa, you are THE BEST! You helped us a lot to make it through. " -- Anjelika, Spring 2022
"Professor Buckley is fantastic. I was expecting that I would just tolerate this class because I had to take it, and instead it has been excellent. The course itself is really well organized on Canvas, the best of any class I've taken at CCSF. The course materials are really interesting and timely, and I have learned a lot about how to be a better writer and thinker. Professor Buckley is also really enthusiastic and supportive. While the class is a lot of work, it is so organized that it seems completely manageable. Overall, this has been a great experience" --Anonymous comment, CCSF Instructor Evaluations, Fall 2020
