Why is it important to read the textbook in this Statistics course?

Statistics requires understanding concepts - it is not limited to calculations. These concepts (found in the textbook) are rarely covered adequately, if at all, in videos. Our tests will assess your understanding of the concepts covered in our textbook, as well as calculations. If you do not plan to read the textbook, you might be more successful in a section of Math 80 that does not require textbook reading. For example, a section that has live zoom lectures (or face to face lectures) will best meet your needs.
