The Nucleus- I started with the first process in protein synthesis- transcription. The board i constructed at first did not allow for enough base spaces and the Question cards to be worth only 2 ATP proved to not be enough to successfully build the mRNA without so many trips around the nucleus- it was starting to become redundant. I changed the spaces on the nucleus part of the board, including more base spaces and I also made the transcription question cards worth a varying amount of points in order for players to better accumulate ATP tokens and bases to build their mRNA strand.Ā

The problems arose with part 2- translation, I was not sure how I wanted to go about players moves- should they roll the die or just pick up cards? It went to fast with rolling so I decided to just draw and drop cards and move a head one spot each turn.Ā
