Lesson 2: Fossil Detectives

Our Objective: 

I can look at fossils and use two pieces of evidence to explain what animals and places were like long ago. 

This website lets you explore many different fossils from the National Museum of Natural History. You can pick a fossil to study, learn where it was found, and discover what time period it came from. By looking closely at the fossils, you can use clues and evidence to figure out what the environment may have been like long ago.
