Robot Racing
As part of a team, we constructed a robot vehicle to race on a small, floor track. Our goal? Reach the finish line first.
We decided to use a color sensor to allow the robot to adjust its position if it hit the border lines of the track. The robot was programmed to stop right after crossing the finish line.
We did struggle with the wheels of the robot shifting slightly, causing our design to run slightly slower than others. We iterated through our design, and although our robot didn't win, it always made it to the finish line.Â
