In Small Guided Reading Groups, What Is The Impact of Chunking on Reading Comprehension?

Using my guided reading group, I explicitly taught chunking to students to help develop their reading comprehension. Students in the group were third graders reading at levels Q-R based on the Fountas and Pinnell Reading Levels.
