RESPOND: The Electronic Textiles as Disruptive Designs article poses three research questions which are explored through the experiences of a young student named Tamieka:
How does designing with e-textile materials promote transparency of technology, a better understanding of how technology works?
What role do aesthetic considerations play in students’ making of e-textiles?
What ways do e-textile activities complicate students’ gendered perspectives on computing and engineering?
